RaceLineCalcPrivacy Policy

This policy explains how Red Rat in Hat handles information related to RaceLineCalc websites, product pages, support requests, and planned app releases.

Last updated: June 9, 2026

Overview

RaceLineCalc is designed as a local-first racing line calculation tool. The website provides product, support, privacy, and legal information. The app is planned to keep project work on the user's device whenever possible.

Legal operator and contact

RaceLineCalc is published by Red Rat in Hat, a brand operated by PE Patsukevich Aleksandr. Tax ID: 20309277. Registered address: 50 V.Atshemyan str., Erebuni, Yerevan city 0005.

Privacy, legal, and business questions can be sent to contact@redratinhat.com.

Data you provide

You may provide information when you contact support, request help, report a bug, ask about a purchase, or send project material for troubleshooting. Do not send personal data or sensitive project material unless it is needed for the request.

Track images, plans, and sketches

RaceLineCalc may use track images, plans, sketches, and similar reference materials selected by the user to build a racing line project. These materials are intended to remain local unless the user chooses to send them to support or a future feature explicitly requires upload.

Local project data

Project files, project settings, imported images, calibration values, annotations, and editing state are intended to remain on the user's device whenever possible.

If a future feature requires cloud sync, account storage, collaboration, or server processing, this policy and the app disclosures will be updated before that feature is made public.

Generated geometry and solver results

Generated racing line geometry, reference paths, speed profiles, solver results, and visualization data are part of the user's project data. They are intended to remain local unless the user exports them, shares them, or sends them to support.

Purchases and restore requests

App Store and Google Play purchases, refunds, and restore requests are processed by Apple or Google. Red Rat in Hat may receive limited purchase, subscription, receipt, order, or diagnostic information needed to support a request or comply with platform requirements.

Support emails

When you contact support, Red Rat in Hat may receive your email address, message content, screenshots, screen recordings, device model, platform, app version, transaction or order details, and any project details you choose to include.

Support information is used to answer the request, investigate bugs, restore purchases when possible, and improve product quality.

Diagnostics and crash reports, if enabled later

The current site does not use analytics, cookies, or external JavaScript. Future app builds may use platform crash reporting or diagnostic tools if required for stability. If enabled, those disclosures will be reflected in the app store privacy forms and this policy.

Third-party services

RaceLineCalc may rely on Apple App Store, Google Play, email providers, operating-system services, and platform-level purchase or crash-reporting tools. Red Rat in Hat does not sell personal information.

Data retention

Local project files remain under user control and can be deleted from the user's device by the user. Support emails and related attachments are retained only as long as needed for support, legal, tax, abuse-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Deletion requests

To request deletion of support correspondence or other information held by Red Rat in Hat, contact contact@redratinhat.com. Some records may need to be retained where required by law, platform rules, accounting, or dispute handling.

Children

RaceLineCalc is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Security

Red Rat in Hat uses reasonable administrative and technical measures for support and business records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so avoid sending unnecessary personal data or sensitive track/project material in support emails.

Changes

This policy may be updated as RaceLineCalc changes, especially before public app-store releases or new data features. The updated version will be posted on this page.
